1. The service

uwakili provides research, drafting and practice-management software. It is a tool for legal professionals, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice or create an advocate-client relationship.

2. Professional responsibility

AI-generated research and drafts are starting points. The subscribing advocate remains solely responsible for verifying every citation and for anything filed or served, consistent with their obligations under the Advocates Act (Cap 16) and LSK professional conduct rules.

3. Accounts and tenancy

Each firm is a separate tenant. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for access you grant to advocates, paralegals and clients within your firm.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload material you have no right to hold, attempt to access another tenant's data, or use the service to mislead a court.

5. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, our liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding three months.
